Prior to the formation of Rousso & Associates LLC, Doug was the Executive Vice President, Chief Information & Technology Officer at Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer Studios Inc. Doug joined Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. (MGM) overseeing MGM’s information and technology teams and was responsible for production and distribution technology operations worldwide.
Prior to MGM, Doug was the Chief Technology Officer for CBS Corporation in New York where he was responsible for the global portfolio of technology across all divisions such the CBS Television Network, CBS Productions, Simon & Schuster, Television City, and Radford Studios. Doug was honored as a recipient of the CIO 100 award in 2017.
Doug has also held chief executive positions with two startup firms in the financial and retail segments and is a current board member at MediaKind Inc, a global vendor that builds media supply chain solutions for internet service providers, operators, content owners and broadcasters.
Doug graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Finance and Business Economics and an MBA in Information Systems Management. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and has three grown children. For recreation, Doug is SCUBA diving instructor and lifelong boating enthusiast as well as an avid snow- and water-skier.

Supporting Corporate Turn-around and Semiconductor Growth Strategy: At Veeco Instruments, a heavy equipment manufacturer in the semiconductor industry, Zelo’s most notable accomplishments include: rebooting an under-performing team, consolidating vendors and shifting to a fungible managed service resourcing model. He hired the company’s 1st CISO, and built a robust information security program. He established a technology program and governance model that aligned to CxO goals, delivering an 80% ROI in technology investment and $33M of quantifiable benefits over 3 years. His transformation programs include enabling company to work from anywhere, using augmented reality to enable remote field services report, and accelerating digital engineering through the use of cloud computing.
Modernizing the Digital Supply Chain: At CBS Corporation, a multinational media conglomerate, Zelo led the turn-around of two multi-million dollar failed projects that were crucial to the company remaining competitive in the areas of advertising sales, inventory optimization, and its syndication rights. The successful deployment of these solutions allowed CBS to remain competitive in the changing marketplace of streaming video and international growth. He also led the modernization of CBS Corporation's Enterprise Technology team. In doing so, he addressed concerns including skills, team structure, technical debt, tools, and automation. This resulted in a modern technology platform that was reliable, scalable, economical, and secure. He launched company's journey to the cloud, establishing a business case for $41M in savings opportunities as well as a road-map to get there.
Leading IT Transformation at Global Scale: At CA Technologies, a multi-national software corporation with a product portfolio focused on Agile software development, DevOps, and computer security software, Zelo led the company’s IT Transformation program. This was a $100M initiative that touched all aspects of the company, and laid the foundation for the company’s turn-around and growth in the areas of sales optimization, channel management in international markets, shared service centers, customer experience improvements, acquisitions, and business intelligence. This initiative had a number of measurable results including $50M in year-over-year savings through the establishment of a shared service center in Europe.
In roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Global Business Services, his notable clients included: Gillette, Raytheon, Roche, Warner Lambert, and Novartis. Zelo has worked internationally for several years and supported global solutions with teams around the world.
